Low alloyed coppers have high electrical conductivity and lower strength. These alloys are most suitable for high electrical load applications or bare contacts with low base material resistivity required. Common applications for these alloys include stamped signal contacts for automotive and consumer electronics. In thicker gauges and in rod/wire these alloys are capable of carrying electrical loads for power distribution to small electronics. |
